Article Critique Assignment

Please choose an article from those listed in the “Article Critique Assignment” folder in Blackboard.

Folder is located in the “Assignments” section of Blackboard and also included in Week Three Materials.

Read the article at least two times to be sure that you understand the material. You are to write a critique of three double-spaced, typewritten pages in which you assess the following:

•What is the argument or thesis of the author?

•What is the visual or documentary evidence the author employs to make this argument?

•Does the evidence presented help to prove the author’s point? If so, why; and if not, why not?

Please note:

•Your analysis should consist of a balance between a summary of the author’s argument and evidence and a critique of the work

•Your written text should be free of spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors

•Please use a 12-point font other than Times (New) Roman

•The critique is due on April 2nd, 2015

Late papers will be graded down incrementally for every day they are late.
