Assignment 2

The Greeks have 2 words for time: Chronos and Kairos.  Look them up.  Study them.  Think about them.  Do your best to understand them.  In a thoughtful paragraph (200-250 words), describe why understanding both of these meanings is important for the construction of historical analysis.  Why should we have a Chronos and Kairos view of history and time and events? What would our understanding of our past look like if we only used one or the other and not both?
