Instructional Plan Part 2:
Due: July 23rd
The focus of the Instructional Plan for Diverse Learners Part 2 is the completion of the teaching/lesson plan that you planned in the Instructional Plan Part 1 (see part 1 attached) and relevant instructional documents. Prepare a lesson/teaching plan based on the teaching plan format of Chapter 10 in the Bastable text. Use the chart from the text to include all parts. Part Two of the Instructional Plan for Diverse Learners summarizes the outcomes of the decisions made regarding the instructional event. Decisions are to be backed up from the literature. This assignment should be a scholarly paper, four to six pages long (minus the title page, references, and attachments). There should be a minimum of three non-text references (nursing journals/peer-reviewed.
There will be three sections for this paper, an introduction, discussion, and conclusion. An introduction does not include a heading due to its position in the paper. Your paper should be set up as follows:
Introduction
Discussion
Your paragraph(s) on an overview of the content with a description of the rationale and its relationship to the learning outcome/s, including substantiation from the literature. Make sure that the learning objectives/outcomes follow ABCD and are SMART. (Bastable, 2019, p. 432). Discuss the teaching plan, purpose, goals, objectives, selection of method, instructional materials. Explain what and how are you planning to teach.
Instructional Materials
Your paragraph(s) on describing how the handouts, PowerPoints, etc. were created. They should be original. How did you determine the materials to be at the appropriate level for the audience?
Method of Evaluation
Your paragraph(s) on a description of the method/s of evaluating your learners and their relationship to the learning outcomes, including substantiation from the literature. Explain how you are planning to evaluate the learning.
Conclusion
Remember each paragraph must be at least three sentences. Use quotes very sparingly, paraphrase, and cite. If a quote is used, discuss it and cite with author, date, and page number.
