— As defined by College Board for this AP Computer Science Principles class, a “computing innovation is an innovation that includes a computer or program code as an integral part of it’s functionality.”  So an internet computer innovation can be an online tool for creating artifacts, a specialized computer program, etc.   We describe a internet tool as an item that achieves a particular goal for one or more users with the aide of a computer.

A. Choose a computing innovation tool which you must use the internet to use that you would like to learn more about. Research this topic for purpose or function.

—Purpose is what the ultimate goal of the innovation is. 

—Function is the “how” of the purpose, how does the innovation work to achieve the purpose.

B. Create an infographic, a computer artifact, for your computer innovation that illustrates the purpose or function of the innovation or both. 

C. Create a Word document to explain detail answers to questions and the Works Cited page.

Based on readings in Rising Powers, Global Governance, and Global Ethics and related discussions, choose 1 of the countries or regions from the book into which your company might wish to expand.

One of the primary objectives of data analytics to produce accurate predictions of great value to clients or constituents.  Sometimes however these predictions turn out to be wrong for a variety of reasons. Can you find a case where data was analyzed and a prediction made that turned out to be a colossal mistake?

Assignment 1: Research Paper: Good vs Great websites

Think about the last time you utilized a mobile application or attempted to build your mobile website.  What planning process did you go through before you began your project?  You may have considered the steps or tasks you needed to perform.  You may also have considered the resources and platforms needed for your outcome.  For example, which model fits your business domain needs?  Do you have time constraints that will make completing the web application/site complex within a reasonable period?  You may also have considered the myths surrounding developing mobile apps and the difficulties generally associated with mobile app development.  Please answer the following questions.  Write a 2 page response.

– Illustrate how design & utility makes a difference between good vs. great websites.  Explain

– Distinguish how deciding between a mobile application vs. a mobile website is an essential consideration for developers. Explain.

– Examine how NoSQL databases be used in APP development. 

– Interpret how push notifications are the preferred method of communication over instant messaging amongst young people.

Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:

– Use at least three-five (3 – 5) quality resources in this assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not qualify as quality resources.

Assignment 2: Project:

Create a Project called TipCalculator. Refer to instructions in the textbook. The main activity layout should contain one EditText, three buttons, and one TextView (Figure attached). The first button should be labeled 15% and should take the amount entered in the EditText and calculate 15% of that value. The second button should be labeled 18% and should Create a Project called TipCalculator. Refer to instructions in the textbook.

Project Deliverables:

– copy of your code. The code does what it is supposed to do and executes successfully. Logic is complete and organized.

– The code functions correctly . Code contains features necessary to successfully develop functional mobile app
