Identify two ways in which you will continue to integrate evidence into your practice and encourage it within your work environment. What obstacles could challenge this plan, and what steps will you take to minimize their impact?The EBP is such an important part of the BSN-RN because it helps to show how important research is and it shows the other side of nursing and others ways we can stand up for our patients. Two ways that I will continue to use evidence in my practice are first I will continue to research ways to improve falls in the hospital. The second way I will use and encourage evidence into my practice is to try to educate the other nurses around me on the importance of evidence and research. If I can do this then it will continue to help the nursing field for years to come. The main obstacle that could stand in my way is the amount of work nurses already have on their shoulder. That being said the nurses will most likely resist the change because of the lack on time they have but if I continue to push the issue then I can get them to turn around little by little.
