Your presentation is very well done. I really enjoyed watching your presentation. It flows naturally, fluidly, and the way you organized your slides provided plenty of detailed information in regard to burnout. My following questions are as follow:

1. What was the primary question of your research and why did you choose this topic?

Many parents lack awareness of the warning signs, prevalence, and incidence of suicidal ideations and attempts in children (Oflson et al., 2018). There is a need for bringing to light to the increasing epidemic of suicide attempts in children and adolescence. This proactive, sixty- minute psychoeducational training provided parents with information not readily available, in this concise manner or otherwise, elsewhere. While there are numerous opportunities for parents to research information regarding suicide in children, there are little to no organized and formalized trainings for parents that are in plain language and require a reasonable amount of time. Research supports that the need for increased awareness regarding this specific topic exists (Gryglewicz, Elzy, Brown, Kutash, & Karver, 2014). This capstone project helped to fulfill the need for providing education regarding suicidal risk factors and warning signs. As a result, both parents and children will benefit from this information. This yielded the capstone project primary research question for which this study was founded: for parents, how does suicide awareness training increase the knowledge of suicidal risk factors and recognition of potential warning signs in children.
