Yes, following evidenced-based practice is important to nursing because of their various roles and interactions with patients and other team members (GCU, 2018). Having such a vital voice when it comes to patient care does require deeper knowledge that comes from EBP to provide the most current and safest practice to ensure patient’s outcomes are optimal (GCU, 2018).
