The purpose of this assignment is to use the evidence gathered in the literature review to analyze the information and write a formal literature review. You may find it useful to fill out the “Evaluation Table Template” to organize information gathered during the literature review process. In a 1,250 word paper (not including the title page and references) you will use the information gathered for your literature review templates and synthesize the information. Make sure to include the following:

1. Description of the search method (databases, keywords, criteria for inclusion and exclusion, and the number of studies that fit your criteria).

2. Summarization of all the research studies used as evidence. The essential components of each study need to be described so that readers can evaluate its scientific merit, including study strengths and limitations.

3. Description of the validity of internal and external research.

4. The evidence-based practice objectives that you have for your project. Make sure these are aligned to measurable outcomes.

5. A description of how you have adjusted your PICOT after thoroughly reviewing the research and receiving your instructor’s feedback from Topic 1. Attach a new “PICOT Template” as an appendix.
